Improving Practice

Funded by Comic Relief and developed in partnership with Action on Elder Abuse (AEA) this pack of leaflets is aimed, primarily, at staff working in homes for older people. Written simply and informatively they are, however, a useful and valuable resource for anyone.

Topics were selected after analysing calls to the helplines of both charities with additional feedback from a range of care homes.

A central message is that there are many relatively simple aspects of care that can make all the difference to the daily lives of older people living in care homes.
