We support, inform and speak on behalf of older people in care
The CQC’s role is to make sure that health and social care services “provide high quality care” and that they meet “fundamental standards of quality and safety”
Thanks to you, I finally feel listened to – Mrs K
Please keep telling us about your concerns (and compliments!) – you help us to make a difference.
We are a totally independent organisation and have no hesitation in telling it as it is. We expect CQC to take action when we report poor care and ensure that residents are properly cared for and protected with qualified managers and enough trained and supported staff.
We also expect powerful enforcement action when care providers fail to protect residents from harm.
To discuss any worries you have about your own or a relative’s care please:
